10/08/2017 - College PREP - Chester (Philadelphia), PA Cynthia is a 2021 RHP/1B with a balanced skill set. On the mound, Cynthia has a calm presence. She has a fluid and free arm action, she extends through her release and shows smooth mechanics. She uses a 4-pitch package with good control of the zone. Her curve ball is her best pitch and she throws it with confidence in all counts. Being able to throw her change up at different speeds will allow her to keep hitters off balance. At 1B, Cynthia shows good field awareness and works around the bag well. She uses efficient footwork and shows good range to her glove side. She makes a clean exchange, creates momentum to her target and makes accurate throws. Creating a lower fielding position will allow her to play through the ball more. In the box, Cynthia is a RHH that uses a square stance with centered balance and short stride. She is line drive hitter that is able to consistently put the ball in play. She shows power potential and working to taking a direct path to the ball will allow her access that power. Overall, Cynthia is a hard-working player and with continued coaching she will have the opportunity to take her game to the next level.
