02/04/2018 - College PREP - Sacramento, CA Daniella is a 2021 right handed outfielder with a strong skill set. Defensively, she has active feet and range to her backhand side. She has a good first step to the ball and takes good reads off of the bat. She has soft hands when fielding the ball and a clean exchange on her throws. She gets her body positioned behind the ball well to create good momentum coming through each play. Offensively, she has a square and athletic set up in the box with a short stride to the ball. She loads back well in her legs and stays fluid through her swing. She is center in her balance and her hips and hands work well together creating explosive bat speed through the zone. She displays the ability to hit the ball hard in the gaps and be a good asset to a line up. Overall, Daniella is very coachable and has a great attitude. If she continues to work hard she will definitely do what it takes to play at the next level.
