She makes hard contact and shows gap-to-gap power. Working to generate more bat speed will allow her to see an increase in her power production and consistency. At 2B, Delaney is an agile player. She presents her glove on time, fields with firm hands and makes a clean transfer. She plays through the ball and makes accurate throws. She is fluid with the double play and provides good feeds. Overall, Delaney has the skill set needed to play at the next level.
