08/27/2017 - College PREP - Avon (Cleveland), OH Devan is a 2020 1B with a solid skill set. She is a tall girl who will continue to add muscle, as she gets older. At the plate she is a hitter who shows signs of power that makes consistent hard contact. She is a gap-to-gap hitter who hits the ball where it is pitched. Continuing to work on putting the same motion together on every swing will erase any choppiness that may occur. At 1B she is a defender with agile range and begins at a ready position. Her footwork around the bag is good and she has a clean exchange from glove to hand. Overall Devan is a player that will continue to develop her existing skillset and will be a player that is successful at the next level.
