01/18/2019 - 2019 Softball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Ella has earned Softball Factory All-American Pre-Season honors. Ella is a coachable player that has a strong passion for the game. She receives coaching well and is able to make quick adjustments to her game. During game play, Ella proved to have a strong eye in the box. She is able to consistently put the ball in play. She is able to work deep in the count and draw a walk. Working to load her hands more will allow her to see more rhythm. At SS, Ella has quick feet and is able to cover a lot of ground. She reads the ball off the bat and takes good angles. She has sure hands and has a quick arm action. Working to field with softer hands will allow her to move into a clean transfer. Overall, Ella is a player with a lot of passion and she will continue to see improvements in her game.
01/12/2018 - 2018 Softball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Ella is a tough athlete with great speed. Defensively, Ella has quick, fluid footwork and agile range. She is athletic in her fielding position and presents her glove well out in front. Ella is smooth with her mechanics and will dive when needed. She has a clean exchange and fluid arm slot. Ella works well with her momentum and makes accurate throws to her target. Offensively, Ella has an athletic stance with an on-time stride to contact. She loads and stays balanced throughout her swing. Ella has good box presence and pop to the pull side. She makes great adjustments when needed and has a great eye for the strike zone. Overall, Ella is an aggressive player that will continue to take her game to new heights.
