06/19/2017 - Softball Factory World Series Emi is a 2020 3B/RHP with a developing skill set. In the box Emi is a RHH that has a balanced and simple approach. She uses a tall stance with a short stride and back load. She takes a direct path to the ball, makes consistent contact and sprays the field. She is a line drive hitter with gap power. Engaging her lower half and working to be on time will allow her to see more gap production. At 3B Emi is ready for the ball to come her way. She has a low stance, reads the ball well and does a nice job of playing through the ball. She is willing to get dirty to keep the ball in front. She makes a clean transfer and makes accurate throws to her target. Footwork drills will allow her to show more range. On the mound Emi is a finesse pitcher with her drop ball being her go to pitch. Working on her leg drive will allow her to see an increase in her velocity and will allow her to finish each pitch. Overall Emi is a coachable player with the work ethic needed to play at the collegiate level.
