In the infield, she has active footwork around the ball and shows agility in her lateral range. She has a strong first step, an athletic fielding position and presents glove to the ball early. She has an accurate throw and shows strength in her release over the top. Offensively, she has a tall setup and smooth timing. She loads well into her lower half and has natural power in her swing. She has a fast barrel through the zone allowing her to make hard contact to all fields.
07/07/2019 - Interactive Video Program - Sugar Land (Houston), TX Emily is a right handed first baseman and third baseman with a developing skill set. Defensively, she is athletic in her fielding position and has a good pre pitch motion. She creates solid momentum through each play and has a good follow through on her throws across the diamond. She has smooth double play feeds and stays low through the ball. Offensively, Emily has a square set up in the box and a soft stride to the ball. She loads back well in her lower half and stays smooth through the zone. She is strong in her lower half and drives well through her legs to create solid pop in her contact. Overall, Emily is very coachable and has great work ethic.
