05/30/2024 - Softball Factory College World Series - Prospects Select Training Emily is a 2028 grad who plays shortstop and outfield. Defensively, she has a quick and clean exchange and gets rid of the ball quickly. She throws from a good arm over the top arm slot which gives the ball some carry. In the box, Emily has solid mechanics and is an advanced hitter for her age. She has a relaxed set up and makes consistent contact. She loads her hands well and has good timing throughout the process. Emily engages her lower half and is on plane with her swing. She hits the ball to both sides of the field, and once she gets on base, she utilizes her quickness well as she is a great baserunner with a good feel for the game. Overall, Emily has a solid skill set and will continue improving her game as she gets older and enters high school this fall.

Emily attacks the ball in the outfield and gets around the ball making good angles with agile range. She has a quick exchange. A controlled load, good barrel control and consistent contact help Emily hit the ball up the middle of the field. Overall, Emily is a versatile player with the ability to continue improving her game on the diamond.
