She has good range at the corner and accurate throws to her target. In the box, Emma uses her eyes well and hits to both sides of the field. She continues to show strides of reaching her full potential. Overall, Emma is a versatile athlete with a strong set of skills on the diamond.
01/07/2022 - 2022 Softball Factory Pre-Season Prospects Tournament Emma is a 2024 graduate who catches and plays 2B. She has an athletic stance and clean exchange with a side arm release. Her pop time was 1.87 seconds, and Emma finishes every play. In the box, she has good extension and on-plane swing producing a 58MPH exit velocity. Improving her blocking mechanics and footwork speed to create angles will increase her effectiveness behind the dish. Working on full-body conditioning, bat speed and timing will help Emma take her game to the next level. Overall, Emma has the skill set and tools to continue improving her game on the dirt.
