07/22/2019 - College PREP - Bismarck, ND Emma is a 2021 right handed catcher with a developing skill set. Behind the plate, she receives the ball with quiet hands and frames each pitch in the zone. She stays low in her catching position and fluid in her action. She gets over top of the ball well on her blocks and has solid footwork behind the plate. Offensively, she has a soft stride in the box and loads back well in her lower half. She is fluid in her rhythm and explosive through the zone with her barrel. She makes hard contact consistently and shows good power in her gaps. Overall, Emma is athletic and great work ethic.
