12/27/2019 - Softball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament (Prospects) Erin Scurlock is a 2021 catcher and outfielder with a strong skill set. Behind the plate, Erin is quick, athletic, and tracks the ball into her glove well. Her throws are strong and accurate with pop times ranging from 1.95 to 2.03. Offensively, Erin is a contact hitter with an on-plane swing. Her rhythm and timing are controlled. Overall, Erin is a team player who has good aptitude and is a hard worker.
08/05/2019 - College PREP - Dublin (Columbus), OH Erin is a 2021 right handed catcher with a strong skill set. Behind the plate, she has effective footwork and is agile in her range. She gets around the ball well on her blocks and replaces her feet well to keep the ball in front. She is fluid in her action and makes accurate throws to bases. Offensively, she has a square stance and a short stride. She loads back well in her lower half and stays center in her balance. She keeps a firm front side and squares up the ball consistently. Overall, Erin is a hard worker and will do what it takes to reach her goals.
