12/21/2014 - College PREP - Chicago, IL Giselle is a 2017 SS/OF with a developing skill set. At SS, Giselle displays an athletic set up and an aggressive approach. She has quick feet to the ball, has soft/sure hands and makes a good transfer. Working to play through the ball will help Giselle gain ground toward her target and help to make routine throws easier. Giselle is able to get rid of the ball quickly with accurate and consistent throws. She displays good range and improving her angles to the ball will help her with double play feeds and footwork. In the OF, Giselle carries her same aggressive approach from the infield. She reads the ball well off the bat and takes good angles. She has soft/sure hands, has a quick release and is accurate to her target. Working on getting behind fly balls and playing through ground balls with a crow hop will allow Giselle to gain more momentum behind her throws. In the box, Giselle displays an athletic square set up with good balance. She takes a direct route to the ball and produces line drives. Giselle does a nice job of seeing pitches in her zone and working at bats. Working on incorporating a stride and load to her swing will allow Giselle to create a solid weight transfer in her swing and improve her power production. With her aggressive approach Giselle is a team player and consistently puts the ball in play. Over all Giselle is a coachable player and with the right coaching, continued reps and exposure, will have the opportunity to play at the next level.
