12/27/2015 - Softball Factory West Coast Advanced Training Grace returns to Softball Factory to show she is ready to work hard to take her game to the next level. Grace showed she has been working on her footwork by decreasing her home to first time and 5-10-5 shuttle times. In the box she saw an increase in her hitting tool grade by showing consistency at the plate. She is able to make adjustments quickly and is an extremely coachable player. Defensively Grace shows a good knowledge of the game at 3B and communicates well with her team. She has a smooth approach to the ball and works to gain ground to her target. On the mound Grace is an aggressive player. She trusts her pitches and shows good control and spins. Trusting her defense will allow Grace to focus on her job on the mound. Overall Grace is a young player with a bright future in the game.
09/27/2015 - College PREP - Georgetown, TX Grace is a 2020 two-way player as a 3B/RHP with a balanced skill set. In the box Grace is a RHH that uses a square stance with good balance and on time rhythm. She has a level swing, extends thru the hitting zone and uses her core. She shows good hand/eye coordination and is a consistent hitter that is able to work the gaps. Adding a load to her swing will help Grace to stay inside the ball and generate more bat speed. At 3B Grace is an athletic player with a good presence. She hustles every play and communicates with her team. She handles the routine play well, takes good angles to her backhand and makes accurate throws to her target. Adding a pre pitch and stepping up to the ball will allow Grace to play thru the ball and gain momentum to her target. On the mound Grace shows good focus and is able to work pitch to pitch. She uses a 4-pitch package and works to generate ground ball outs for her defense. Concealing the ball longer will allow Grace to keep her grips hidden from batters. Overall Grace is a young player that has a good fundamental start and she will continue to improve, as she gets stronger.
