06/25/2021 - Softball Factory All-State Tournament Hailey is a 2025 graduate who plays behind the dish. She has solid fundamentals behind the plate with a pop time of 1.79. She has strong hands and accurate throws to 2B. In the box, Hailey has a consistent bat path and on-plane swing. She had an exit velocity of 60MPH on the weekend. She also made hitting adjustments in the box. Strength training and more bat speed will increase the power of her swing. Overall, Hailey has the skill set and tools to further improve her game on the diamond.
01/15/2021 - 2021 Softball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament Hailey’s hard work has earned her Softball Factory Rookie Pre Season All American honors. Our coaching staff speak very highly of her work ethic and coachability. In the box, Hailey is a RHH that uses a square stance with centered balance. She has an aggressive approach and works to put the ball in play. Working to extend through contact will allow her to see more line drive production. Behind the plate, Hailey is a vocal player with a good presence. She presents a strong target and frames the zone well. She reacts quickly to balls in the dirt and is able to keep the ball in front. Adding a long toss program to her workouts will allow her to see more carry. Overall, Hailey is an athletic player whose game will continue to grow and improve.
07/26/2020 - Official Player Development Membership - Bowie, MD Hailey is an athletic C/3B who has a promising future on the field. Behind the dish, she presents a soft/sure mitt showing great pocket awareness sticking pitches. Quick lateral movements allow her to center/deaden pitches in the dirt off of a soft chest. Pop times showed a range of 2.41-2.66 with accuracy on her throws. At 3B, she displays clean / smooth actions. Feet are active as she displays proper footwork as she works to square ground balls up and plays through with her body. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. Throws are accurate with carry across the field. At the plate she continues to shine through an athletic setup. Hands are quick (59 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. She has strength in his swing and shows a feel for the barrel with gap-to-gap pop. With 5 years to further develop, Hailey has a lot of potential with time and room to progress her game.
