Behind the plate, Hailey has quick footwork and stays athletic and low in her fielding position. She has a quick exchange to her target and keeps a solid base behind the plate. She pops out quick on bunts and is aggressive in her transitions. At shortstop, Hailey has fluid feet and agile range. She stays low through the ball and moves well laterally. She has good momentum forward through the play and displays a strong arm on her throws to her target. Offensively, Hailey is tall in her setup in the box. She has short stride to the ball and smooth rhythm. She has good power up the middle when swinging away. While slapping, Hailey keeps an open stance and stays balanced in her legs. She has a quiet load with her hands but by focusing on moving forward towards the pitcher and not peeling off towards first base she will be able to place the ball more accurately where she wants to. Overall, Hailey has a great attitude and solid work ethic. If Hailey keeps working hard she will take her game to the next level.
