She lets the ball travel into the hitting zone, whips the barrel with speed and connects with pop, hitting hard line-drives. Even more power potential is there as she works to engage her lower 1/2 more. Behind the plate, she sits in well with athletic actions and good flexion. She tracks pitches into a soft mitt and frames well. Transfer/exchange is quick with strong/accurate throws down to 2B - impressive pop times at 1.96. Kohlbach is a skilled catching prospect who should garner the attention of college coaches with her abilities on the diamond.
