07/31/2019 - Softball Factory World Series - Futures Ilene is a 2024 right handed pitcher and first baseman with a developing skill set. She is engaged at all times and brings great energy to the field. Defensively, she has active feet and fields the ball out in front. She needs to work on staying low in her legs so that she can create more lateral range to the ball. In the circle, she has a calm presence and extends through well on her release. She keeps an open hip direction and stays controlled in her mechanics. Offensively, she has an athletic set up in the box and loose hands to the ball. She is short in her stride and makes hard contact in the gaps. Overall, Ilene will what it takes to play at the next level.
