08/02/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Anchorage, AK Isabella is a 2024 two-way player as a SS/RHP. In the box, Isabella is a RHH that uses a tall stance. She has a line drive approach and is a spray hitter. Working to create more of a weight transfer will allow her to engage her lower half and generate more power. At SS, Isabella has active footwork and a good pre-pitch approach. She covers a lot of ground and is willing to get dirty to keep the ball in front. She makes a quick exchange and makes accurate throws. Working to field the ball further out in front will allow her to play through more. On the mound, Isabella has a developing skill set. She uses a full arm circle and works to control the zone. She does a nice job of opening her hips on time and shows smooth mechanics. Continued reps will allow her to see more development in her pitches. Overall, Isabella is young player and with continued coaching she will see growth in her game.
