08/18/2018 - College PREP - Sioux Falls, SD Jacey is a strong, athletic 2021 prospect who has impressive tools all over the field. She can pick it at the hot corner with quick twitch actions and strong hands to make the tough plays. She has efficient footwork to show range to both sides and funnels the ball in to field hard hit balls. She has a quick arm stroke and gets rid of the ball across the diamond. At the plate, she has an athletic setup and smooth timing to load and launch through the zone. She shows line drive ability and flashes pop to the pull side with potential for more power. Two ball soft toss will improve barrel accuracy and lead to more hard contact. Jacey is a player we definitely want to keep an eye on.
12/27/2017 - Softball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament - Session 2 Jacey is a coachable athlete that returns to Softball Factory with much improvement and hard work. Defensively, Jacey has active footwork and presents her glove well out in front. She gets low on her pre pitch and reads the ball well off the bat. Jacey has good range to her glove side and makes accurate throws to her target. Offensively, Jacey takes a soft stride to contact and stays balanced throughout her swing. She squares the ball up and gets her barrel to the ball. Overall, Jacey has become more vocal and confident as an athlete. She will continue to improve and take her game to new levels.
08/19/2017 - College PREP - Sioux Falls, SD Jacey is a 2021 3B with a developing skill set. She is an athletic player with a tall solid base. At the plate she is a contact hitter who has good separation and follows through the ball. She starts with an athletic setup and has good rotation with her hands and hips. Continuing to work on staying back and using more of her lower half will allow her to make more solid contact and the ability to hit the ball to all fields. In the field she sets up well in the ready position and is consistent with her footwork. Overall Jacey is a player who adjusts well to all situations and any advice given and with her continued hard work will take her game to the next level.
06/01/2017 - Softball Factory College World Series Select Training Jacey is a 2021 right handed third basemen with a developing skill set. Defensively, Jacey has a low field position. She creates a clean exchange with her throws but by focusing on having a quicker release she will start to see more power behind her throws to the bases. She plays through the ball really well and and displays present hands when fielding. She gives great effort on the field and has a great attitude. She is a coachable player and that will take her a long way as she develops in this game. Offensively, Jacey has a square set up in the box and a short stride to the ball. She stays centered in her balance and works her hips and hands well together. By focusing on creating more leg drive and loading back in her legs more she will create even more consistent pop behind the ball. She keeps a direct bat path the ball and swings hard creating hard and contact. Jacey adjusts well and maintains a strong base in the box. She shows a calm confidence about her presence in the box and on the field that will take her to higher levels in this game. Overall, Jacey will work hard on what is needed to take her game to the next level.
11/10/2016 - Softball Factory Select Training & Competition at Historic Dodgertown Jacey returns to Softball Factory to show she is ready to work hard to take her game to the next level. Jacey has an athletic build that projects well for the sport. Offensively Jacey does a nice job of working the middle of the field with line drive power. Keeping her balance centered will allow her to create more of a weight transfer and see an increase in her power production. Defensively Jacey handles the routine play well and makes accurate throws to her target. Adding a pre pitch to her approach and fielding with soft hands will allow Jacey to play through the ball and make a quicker transfer. Overall Jacey is a coachable player and with continued coaching and exposure she will have the opportunity to take her game to the next level.
08/21/2016 - College PREP - Sioux Falls, SD Jacey is a solid 2021 third baseman that is continuing to develop her skill set. Defensively, Jacey does a good job fielding the ball out in front with sure hands. She has an accurate arm and makes on line throws across the diamond. By working to smooth out her backhand approach, Jacey will increase her range from side to side. Offensively, Jacey has an open setup and stride. She does well with staying inside the ball and making consistent contact. By incorporating the use of her legs and rotating her core at contact, Jacey will see an increase in her power numbers. Overall, Jacey is a young player that will only continue to develop her game with training.
