11/22/2015 - College PREP - Savannah, GA Jaci is a 2020 two-way player as 2B/RHP who hits from the left side. In the box Jaci uses a square stance with good balance and on time rhythm. She has an activated load, takes a direct route the ball and generates good bat speed. She is a consistent line drive hitter that is able to hit to all fields. Seeing the ball deeper into the hitting zone will allow Jaci to keep her lower half engaged and see an increase in her power production. Jaci is also a slap hitter that is able to challenge defenses with the short game. She puts down nice/soft bunts and is able to work the 5/6 hole as well. At 2B Jaci is an athletic player that is willing to get dirty to keep the ball in the INF. She has quick footwork and takes good angles to the ball. She sees the ball in and fields with soft/sure hands. Staying low thru the backhand will allow Jaci to come up with the ball with ease. On the mound Jaci has a good presence and shows a good knowledge of the position. She shows good balance as she gathers over the rubber, on time separation and a fluid arm action. She shows good control over her pitches and is able to work the zone. She creates tight spin on the ball and as she continues to get stronger she will see an increase in her velocity. Overall Jaci is a young player with the athleticism and tools needed to take her game to the next level.
