02/11/2018 - College PREP - Monticello, IA Jena is a 2020 RHP with an advanced skill set. On the mound, Jena has a calm and confident presence. She has a fluid arm action, uses her hips well and creates nice resistance in her finish. She uses a 4-pitch package and works on the low to mid 60's. She is able to keep hitters off balance with a changeup in low 40's. Jena shows good mechanics and creates the proper spins and works low in the zone. In the box, Jena is a RHH that uses a tall stance with a short stride and centered balance. She loads her hands back, creates smooth rhythm and generates fast bat speed. She stays inside the ball and generates gap-to-gap power. Overall, Jena is an athletic player with the tools needed to play at the collegiate level.
