04/16/2023 - Official College Recruiting Membership - York, PA Jocilyn is a 2026 grad who pitches and plays outfield. She has good action on her change up and hit a top speed of 57MPH with her fastball, throwing a curve, screw, and drop as well. In the grass, Jocilyn gets behind the ball and catches with two hands out front. In the box, she tracks well and gets to extension producing a 72MPH exit velocity. Jocilyn is a strong player who is versatile with a strong skill set on the diamond.
02/25/2023 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Palmyra (Harrisburg), PA Jocilyn is a 2026 grad who pitches and plays outfield. In the grass, she catches the ball with two hands and has active feet and clean exchange. On the mound, Jocilyn has quick arm speed and is accurate with her fast ball hitting a top speed of 53MPH. She has great barrel awareness and solid contact. She continues to improve her skills. Overall, Jocilyn has a strong skill set on the diamond.
06/21/2021 - Official Player Development Membership - Frederick, MD Jocilyn is a 2026 graduate who pitches and plays OF. She has an athletic build. Jocilyn showcased her FB, Changeuo, Curve and Rise. She has a quick arm circle but could use more spin and leg drive to increase power and effectiveness. In the OF, Jocilyn attacks the ball and makes accurate throws. In the box, she has an exit velocity of 50MPH. Working on a quicker first step and balance in the box will help Jocilyn take her game to the next level. Overall, she has the ability to improve her skills on the field.
09/04/2020 - Official Player Development Membership - Frederick, MD Jocilyn continues to shine on the diamond. At 2B, feet are aggressive as she works around balls and plays through with his body. Glove action is clean but will benefit by presenting more out front. Throws are accurate but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, she shows a squared setup. Hands are quick and work to and through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. On the mound, she shows a repeatable delivery, allowing her arm action to work loose to the plate. Fastball showed a range of 44-45 mph with sink. Changeup sits 38-39 with sinking action. Curve sits 44-45 mph with tight spin. Rise ball sits 38-40 with late action.
08/10/2020 - Official Player Development Membership - Frederick, MD Jocilyn continues to show improvements in her softball abilities. She did show as SS for the first time at the event. At the plate, hitting / power potential has improved through a squared setup. Hands are quick and work to and through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will continue to improve as she utilizes her lower half more efficiently. At SS, feet are aggressive as she works around balls and plays through with his body. Glove action is clean but will benefit by presenting more out front. Throws are accurate as she gets rid of the baseball quickly. On the mound, she shows a repeatable delivery, allowing her arm action to work loose to the plate. Fastball showed a range of 44-47 mph with sink. Changeup sits 38-39 with sinking action. Curve sits 43-44 mph. Rise ball sits 38-39 with late action.
08/04/2019 - Interactive Video Program - Ashburn (DC), VA Jocilyn is a 2026 right handed pitcher and third baseman with a developing skill set. Defensively, she is agile in her range to the ball and has solid athleticism. She tends to come up in her legs when moving laterally and if she can focus on working low to high and staying low through each play she will create more range for herself. On the mound, she has a calm and confident demeanor and attacks the strike zone. She is controlled in her mechanics and stays tall in her finish. Offensively, Jocilyn is square in her set up and short in her stride. She stays center in her balance and has fast hands through the zone to contact. She gets good extension in her swing and drives the ball the opposite way with good power. Overall, she hustles hard and shows good love for the game.
