06/25/2021 - Softball Factory All-State Tournament Julia is a 2023 graduate who plays 3B. She makes routine plays and can play multiple positions on the field. At 3B, Julia has presents her hands and has an athletic ready position. In the box, she has a small load and firm front lower half creating an exit velocity of 62MPH. She is not afraid to take swings and she is able to makes adjustments in the box. Pitch recognition at the plate and some glove work will make Julia a better rounded ball player. Overall, Julia has the skill set and tools to further improve her game on the diamond.
01/12/2018 - Softball Factory Spring Training at Historic Dodgertown Julia is a right handed first baseman with a developing skill set. Defensively, Julia has present hands when fielding the ball and is aggressive each play. She has accurate throws to her target. By focusing on staying low in her legs as she moves through the ball she will start to see herself fielding the ball more cleanly. Offensively, she stays center in her balance and has as strong set up in the box. She works hard to make adjustments in the box and keeps her head on the ball throughout her swing. Overall, Julia is very coachable and has a learners attitude. If she continues to work hard and make adjustments she will do what it takes to get her game to the next level.
