11/14/2018 - Under Armour Softball Factory Fall Classic - 16U Julianna returns to Softball Factory for her 3rd event. Julianna proved to be a leader on and off the field. On the mound, Julianna has excellent poise and is able to work through tough at bats. She is able to keep hitters off balance and creates good spin in the ball. Working to keep her own pace on the mound will allow her to work through tough innings. In the box, Julianna is a LHH that is also able to slap. She reads the defense very well and is able to put down a bunt to move runners. She is a consistent line drive hitter that is able to work the gaps. Once on base, Julianna is aggressive and smart and is able to advance when given the opportunity. Overall, Julianna has the work ethic and tools needed to play at the collegiate level.
06/18/2018 - Softball Factory World Series (Grad Year 2023-2025) Julianna is a 2023 right handed pitcher and shortstop with a developing skill set. Defensively, she has quick feet and a strong arm on her throws to her target. She stays athletic in her fielding position and is agile in her range to the ball. On the mound, she has a confident presence and extends through well on her release. She keeps an open hip direction and stays controlled in her mechanics. She has a fluid arm acton and solid spin on her pitches. Offensively, she is athletic in her set up in the box and has an on time stride to the ball. She loads back well in her legs and stays center in her balance. She is smooth though the zone and squares up the ball consistently. Overall, Julianna works really hard and if she continues to do so she will make a great asset to a collegiate team in her future.
02/19/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Washington (Pittsburgh), PA Julianna is a 2022 right handed pitcher with a developing skill set. On the mound, she has a calm and confident presence and extends through on her release. She keeps an open hip direction and stays tall and controlled in her finish She stays athletic in her balance and has a fluid arm circle. She keeps her hips closed more on her curve ball than her other pitches and creates tight spin. Offensively, She has a square set up in the box and a soft stride. She loads back well and stays fluid through her rhythm. Her hips and hands work well together and she makes consistent hard contact. Overall, Julianna exudes confidence both in the box and on the mound. If she continues to work hard she will do what it takes to play at the next level.
