01/28/2017 - College PREP - Kapolei (Honolulu), HI Kaile is a 2018 outfielder with a developing skill set. Defensively, Kaile has effective footwork and has good range to her glove side. She has sure, firm glove work and takes good angles to the ball. Kaile has a clean exchange to throw and has short arm action for a quick, accurate release to her target. Offensively, Kaile has a simple setup and stays balanced throughout her swing. She hits with a firm front side and takes a short, direct route to the ball. Kaile squares the ball up nicely and is able to work to all parts of the field. By engaging her lower half and creating more separation, Kaile will gain more strength and power and contact. Overall, Kaile will continue to improve and work on what is needed to take her game to the next level.
