11/08/2018 - Softball Factory Select Training & Competition at Historic Dodgertown (Grad Years 2019-2023) Kali returns to Softball Factory to show she is ready to take her game to the next level. Since her last outing, Kali has made increases to all her tool grades and has improved her home to first and 20-yard dash times. In the box, Kali is a LHH that uses a square stance with a short stride. She loads her hands and creates smooth rhythm. She is a consistent line drive hitter to opposite field and shows gap power. Working to stay inside the ball longer will allow her to see power to all fields. In the OF, Kali is an athletic player with quick footwork. She reads the ball well and hustles every play. She is a vocal leader and works to keep the ball from finding the gap. Working to play through the ground ball more will allow her to cut down the distance to her target. Overall, Kali is a coachable that is able to make quick adjustments to her game. She will be a great addition to any line up.
08/26/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Trenton, NJ Kali is a 2023 left handed outfielder and first baseman with a developing skill set. In the outfield, she has active feet and gets behind the ball well. She tracks the ball well off of the bat and has good momentum coming through each play to her release point in her throw. At first base, she is agile in her range to the ball and stays low in her fielding position. She has soft hands when fielding the ball and has a quick release on her throws to her target. Offensively, she has an athletic set up in the box and a soft stride to the ball. She loads back well in her legs and squares up the ball consistently. Overall, Kali is very coachable and adjusts well. If she continues to work hard she will do what it takes to play at the next level.
