12/18/2020 - Softball Factory Academic All-American Tournament Kamdyn is a SS prospect who showcased her skills during the Academic All-American Tournament. In the field, Kamdyn shows efficient footwork with a quick first step. She gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front of her body. Her exchange is clean and she gets rid of the ball quickly, making accurate throws with carry through her target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a square stance with her hands held high. She is on time getting into her load and works through a smooth swing, producing solid line drives. Overall, Kamdyn is a solid prospect who has the potential to further build upon her skills on the field.
01/20/2020 - College PREP - Omaha, NE Kamdyn is a SS prospect who continues to showcase her skills on the field. At SS, Kamdyn makes the routine plays and makes a quick exchange. She gains ground well on her throws, creating good carry through her target. Getting into a more athletic fielding position can help Kamdyn improve defensively. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a crouched stance and takes a square stride. She is fluid getting into her load and hits against a strong front side. She generates fast bat speed through the zone, leading to loud contact and gap to gap pop. Kamdyn can improve as a hitter by taking a shorter stride. Overall, Kamdyn is a solid prospect who has the potential to further develop her skills on the field.
01/21/2019 - College PREP - Omaha, NE Kamdyn is a 2023 right handed shortstop with a developing skill set. Defensively, she has quick feet and range to both sides. She moves well laterally and stays low through each play. She has soft hands when fielding the ball and a clean exchange on her throws to her target. She is fluid in her action to the ball and creates solid momentum through each play. Offensively, she has a square set up in the box and a short stride to the ball. She loads back well in her legs and stays fluid through the zone. Her hips and hands work well together in her swing and she makes hard contact to all sides of the field. Overall, Kamdyn has great work ethic and if she continues to work hard, she will do what it takes to play at the next level.
