03/01/2020 - College PREP - Indianapolis, IN Kate is a 2024 LHP with a balanced skill set. On the mound, Kate uses a 4-pitch package. She controls the pace well and is aggressive in the zone. She creates good spin on the ball and creates good movement. Working to clear her hips and taking a full stride will allow her to see an increase in her velocity. In the box, Kate is a RHH that uses a square stance with a short stride. She is a contact hitter and is able to spray the field. Engaging her lower half and accelerating through contact will allow her to increase her gap production. Overall, Kate is a young player and with continued coaching she will take her game to the next level.
