01/10/2021 - All-In Membership - Jacksonville, FL Katelin is an athletic 3B/RHP who has a promising future on the field. At 3B, defensive abilities are excellent as she displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are aggressive as she works around balls and plays through with her body. Glove action is clean and presents out front. Feet are quick as she moves well laterally and covers a lot of ground. Throws are accurate with on line carry (61 mph velocity) across the diamond but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, she continue to shine, displaying excellent hitting / power potential through a squared setup. Hands are quick (64 mph exit velocity) and work to and through a level swing path. She shows a feel for the barrel and has strength in her swing and stays inside the ball through a line drive approach. On the mound, she shows a repeatable delivery, allowing her arm action to work loose to the plate. Fastball showed a range of 55-56 mph. Changeup sits 36-38 with slight sink. Rise ball sits 52-53 mph. She throws a 2 seam sitting 52-53 mph with late movement. With 4 years to further develop, Katelin has a lot of potential and will get looks from the college coaches as she continues to progress her game.
