07/12/2018 - Advanced Training and Competition at the International Cup (Grad Years 2023-2025) Katelyn is a 2024 right handed pitcher and first baseman with a developing skill set. In the circle, she uses her lower half well driving off of the mound in her motion. She stays tall in her finish and hits her spots well. Defensively, she moves through the ball well and keeps her head on the ball at all times. She adjusts well when coached and has an accurate throw to her target. Offensively, she has a tall set up in the box and makes adjustments well between each pitch. She needs to focus on using her lower half more in her swing so that she can create more power behind her contact. She is aggressive in the box and swings hard every time. Overall, she is very coachable and if she continues to work hard she will do what it takes to play at the next level.
