05/31/2018 - Softball Factory College World Series Select Training (Grad Year 2018-2022) Katelyn is a 2022 right handed pitcher with a developing skill set. On the mound, she has a strong base and keeps the ball low in the zone. She keeps an open hip direction and is free in her arm action. She is smooth in her mechanics and has tight spin on her screw ball. Offensively, she has an athletic set up in the box and an on time stride to the ball. She loads back well and stays center in her balance. She is explosive through the zone and makes consistently hard contact. Overall, she is a contact hitter and works hard every time she steps on the field.
