02/17/2020 - Interactive Video Program - Washington (Pittsburgh), PA Katie Ledwich is a 2025 right-handed catcher and first baseman with a developing skill set. Behind the plate, Katie has efficient footwork and athletic movements. She has a soft glove that works back into the zone when framing and an accurate throw to her target. At first base, she fields from an athletic and low position and has an on-line throw. Offensively, she has a square setup and short stride. Her balance is centered and she has a fast barrel through the zone. Katie makes hard contact with each pitch and shows power to her pull side.
