03/01/2020 - College PREP - Indianapolis, IN Kayla is a 2023 RHP with a confident presence. On the mound, Kayla shows good balance, free arm action and controlled mechanics. She opens are hips well, extends through and has a controlled finish. She uses a 4-pitch package and is able to throw an off speed. Working on a long toss program will help her develop more endurance and velocity. In the box, Kayla is a RHH that uses a square stance with centered balance. She created fluid rhythm with a stride and load. She makes consistent contact and shows line drive power. Extending through contact will allow her to see an increase in her gap production. Overall, Kayla is an athletic player that will continue to improve her skill set.
