03/18/2018 - College PREP - Las Vegas, NV Kaylea is a 2019 right handed outfielder and shortstop with a strong skill set. In the outfield, she displays fluid footwork and good range to both sides. She is athletic in her fielding position and has a quick transfer on her throws to her cut off. She stays light on her feet and comes through the ball well creating good momentum through each play and a strong arm to her target. In the infield, she has good rhythm and works well laterally stopping the ball from going to the outfield. She stays low and athletic in her fielding position and has carry on her throws to her target. Offensively, Kaylea has a square set up in the box and a soft stride to the ball. She uses her lower half well in her swing creating power behind her contact. She has a smooth bat path through the zone and show shows power up the middle. Overall, Kaylea adjusts well and has great work ethic. If she continues to work hard she will do what it takes to play at the next level.
