06/22/2015 - Softball Factory World Series Kelly is an intelligent 2017 1B/RHP with a solid skill set. At the plate, Kelly is a strong hitter with tons of raw power. She has great load with lots of drive in her back knee. She allows the ball to travel deep into the zone for maximum power. Kelly has a direct/level swing path with good bat speed and barrel accuracy. On the mound, Kelly has great composure and the ability to get outs. She also has an athletic stance and fluid arm action. Kelly's screwball is a tough one to hit, following up with significant decrease in speed in her changeup. Continuing to improve on keeping consistent arm speed will help Kelly keep hitters guessing what pitch is coming. At 1B, Kelly has excellent presence and exudes confidence. She has athletic body positioning when fielding the ground ball, efficient footwork, and proper throwing mechanics. Overall, Kelly is a talented player with skills that will transfer to the next level.
