She creates smooth rhythm with a backload and short, square stride. She has a middle of the field approach and shows line drive power. Working to generate more bat speed will allow her to see an increase in her power production. In the OF, Kennedy is an aggressive player. She reads the ball well and moves well to her glove side. She fields with sure hands and makes a clean transfer. Playing through the ball will allow her to generate momentum to her target and see more carry. At 2B, Kennedy shows good field awareness. She presents her glove on time, fields out in front with sure hands and makes a clean transfer. She gets in line with her target and makes accurate throws. Working on her double play timing will round out her middle infield approach. Overall, Kennedy is a young player that will continue to develop her skill set.
