08/04/2019 - College PREP - Ashburn (DC), VA Kiersten is a 2024 right handed pitcher with a developing skill set. On the mound, she has a calm presence and attacks the strike zone. She has a good natural rise movement to her pitches and drives off of the mound in her legs well. She needs to work on creating tighter wrist action so that she can create maximum movement on her pitches. Offensively, she is square in her set up and short in her stride to the ball. She needs to work on more weight transfer in her swing so that she can use her legs for power to produce stronger contact. She makes consistent contact and shows good pop to her pull side. Overall, Kiersten hustles hard and has great work ethic.
