05/30/2024 - Softball Factory College World Series - Prospects Select Training Kira is a 2029 pitcher who also showed very well with the bat in Oklahoma City. On the mound, she has good command of all of her pitches, as she is very accurate. She showed improved mechanics across the board since her first workout with us a few months ago. She has a confident presence and is balanced throughout her delivery. Kira gets good extension and has a free and fluid arm action. She finishes well, in part due to her excellent use of her lower half. At the plate, Kira has great power for her age and showed consistent bat speed. She has a great eye at the plate, loads her hands well, and has good timing. Kira engages her lower half and rotates her core, leading to hard and consistent contact. She had a great inside the park HR at the event with the ball hitting the fence, very impressive for a middle school player! Kira will be one to watch as she gets older.
02/17/2024 - Official Player Development Membership - Marlborough (Boston), MA Kira is a 2029 grad who pitches and plays outfield. She gains ground, makes good angles to the ball and creates momentum through her release. On the mound, Kira's motion is fluid, she has a calm presence and consistent arm action throwing a fastball and changeup. In the box, she has quick hands, direct bath path and balanced swing hitting the ball to both sides of the field. Overall, Kira has a strong skill set and the ability to continue improving her game on the diamond.
