10/23/2016 - College PREP - Charleston, WV Kirya is a 2019 2B with an athletic skill set. In the box Kirya is a RHH that uses a square stance with good balance and on time rhythm. She has an activated load, takes a direct route to the ball and generates good bat speed. She creates good leverage in her swing and is able to work opposite field. Creating a little more extension in her swing will only create more power production. At 2B Kirya has a good presence and reads the ball well. She has quick footwork, fields with soft hands and uses the proper arm slot. She does a nice job of staying low and athletic thru the ball and provides smooth double play feeds. Pushing thru the backhand more will allow Kirya to be more fluid with that play. Overall Kirya is balanced player with the tools needed to play at the collegiate level.
