03/03/2018 - College PREP - Baltimore, MD Kyra is a 2022 right handed pitcher and first baseman with a developing skill set. Defensively, she keeps her action short to the ball and has an accurate arm on her throws to her target. She creates good backspin on her throws and makes routine plays. She has good bag awareness and works well through the ball. On the mound, Kyra has a calm and confident presence. She stays tall through her motion and keeps a god stride off of the mound. She has sharp movement on her fast ball and change up and correct spin on her drop ball. Offensively, she loads back well and keeps her head on the ball. She makes consistent contact but by focusing on keeping her hands inside of the ball more rather than going out and around, Kyra will start to make harder contact with the ball through the zone. Overall, she has a great attitude and solid work ethic. If she continues to work hard she will do what it takes to play at the next level.
