11/04/2022 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Hemet, CA Lauren is a 2023 graduate out of Westview High School in Southern California. She showed a high motor in her athletic measurements including a well above-average 20 yard dash time of 3.16 seconds and a standing broad jump of 6'1". Her overhand throw of 58mph is also slightly above varsity average and displays quick twitch movements with solid times in the 5-10-5 shuttle run. At the plate, she hit the ball as hard as 58mph with solid hand-eye coordination. We would like to see her focus on developing more bat speed to assist in generating more power. As a pitcher, Lauren showed calmness and confidence in the circle. She threw a 4 pitch mix of fastball, changeup, curveball and drop with velocities as high as 46mph. If she can work to maintain her arm speed through release on all 4 pitches, she will continue to maximize her potential as a pitcher at the next level. Overall, Lauren is an athlete that has the tools and aptitude to continue playing after high school.
