05/20/2018 - College PREP - Tacoma (Seattle), WA Layla is a 2023 outfielder with a strong skill set. Defensively, she has fluid footwork in the outfield and is agile in her range to the ball. She has a square fielding position and a clean exchange on her throws to her target. She makes accurate throws and covers a lot of ground in the outfield. Offensively, she keeps her hips and shoulders square and her hands direct to the ball. She is fluid in her motion in the box and is on time with her feet through the box. She can place the ball well and deadens her bunts. Overall, Layla is very athletic and works hard. If she continues to do so she will make a great asset to a collegiate level team in her future.
