Defensively, she has effective footwork and range to her glove side. She has firm hands when receiving the ball and a clean exchange on her throws to her target. She is short in her action to the ball and keeps her throws on line. In the circle, she has calm mound presence and extends through well on her release. She keeps an open hip direction and is controlled in her mechanics. She drives off of the mound well through her lower half and hits her spots consistently. Offensively, she is athletic in her set up and loads back well through her swing. She activates her lower half well through her swing and stays center in her balance. She shows good pop in the gaps and gets through extension well in her swing. Overall, Leah hustles hard and has great work ethic.
