04/16/2023 - National Evaluation and Tryout - Seattle, WA Lexi is a 2027 grad out of Snohomish, WA who plays second base and outfield. At 2B, she’s athletic and has an active pre pitch. Lexi has good backhand glove work and follows her flip. She has a 2 handed exchange and made accurate throws to her target. Continuing to have momentum towards her target as well as more carry and strength on her throws will only increase her stock. In the grass, she is not afraid to lay out for the ball and has a quick exchange. She’s agile and has quick feet. She tends to drift at times and needs to continue to work on that first step. At the plate, she has a line drive approach, a strong lower half, and sprays the ball all over the field with a 56MPH exit velocity. She tends to roll over and can get long at times. Overall, Lexi has a solid skill set on the diamond and we look forward to seeing what the future holds.
