05/23/2020 - All-In Membership - Columbia, SC Lexis is an athletic SS who has a promising future on the field. At SS, defensive abilities are outstanding as she displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are aggressive as she works around balls and plays through with her body. Glove action is soft / sure and presents well out front. Throws are accurate with carry across the diamond as she gets rid of the baseball quickly. At the plate, hitting abilities as a RHH are excellent through a squared, athletic setup. Hands are quick (63 mph exit velocity) and work to and through a level swing path. She stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap-to-gap pop. Barrel accuracy is a plus and utilizes lower half well through the swing. She is a slap hitter from the left side. She makes consistent contact with power showing only to the pull side. Lexis has a lot of potential and will get looks from the collegiate coaches as she continues to progress her game.
