03/01/2020 - Interactive Video Program - Indianapolis, IN Lily showed very well defensively at her first event with Softball Factory. The 2025 middle infielder had quick actions and fielded the ball in front from a square fielding position. Her exchange was quick and clean and she had plus footwork moving around and through the ball. Cleaning up backhand mechanics, and knowing her flip range for double-play feeds will improve effectiveness. At the plate, she had an athletic/ open setup and was on-time to stride and load. Her rhythm/ timing was smooth & fluid and her balance was centered. She showed a contact approach and as she drives her top hand through the ball more frequently, she will hit more consistent line-drives. Overall - Lily is a young athlete with natural ability that has a very bright future in the game.
