07/20/2015 - Factory Development Institute National Select Program Lindsey is a 2019 C with an advanced skill set and strong arm. In the box Lindsey is a RHH that uses a square stance with good balance and on time rhythm. She has an activated load, takes a direct route to the ball and generates good bat speed. She extends through the hitting zone allowing her to be a consistent gap-to-gap hitter to all fields. Finishing her swing with 2 hands will allow her to continue to see power production. Behind the plate Lindsey is an athletic player that gives her pitches and teammates confidence. She presents a good target, looks the ball in and receives with soft/sure hands. She is sure of the zone and does a nice job getting her nose behind her frames. Her pitcher is able to work low in the zone as Lindsey reacts quickly to the block and gets her hips around the ball. She makes a quick and fluid transfer and makes accurate throws to her target. Her throws show carry and she not afraid to challenge base runners. Overall Lindsey is a coachable player with the tools needed to play at the collegiate level and will be a contributor in any line up.
