02/11/2018 - College PREP - Corpus Christi, TX Madalynn is a 2020 right handed second baseman with a developing skill set. Defensively, she stays low in her fielding position and sees the ball well off of the bat. She has quick and smooth double play feeds to second. By focusing on shortening her release on her throws and having more body control as she moves laterally, she will start to create more range and keep the balls in the infield more consistently. Offensively, she has a square set up and a short stride in the box. She has a fast bat and is direct to the ball through her bat path. She makes hard contact and barrels up the ball well. Overall, Madalynn is very coachable and if she continues to work hard she will do what it takes to play at the next level.
