12/02/2018 - College PREP - Conroe (Houston), TX Madeline is a 2021 S with a balanced skill set. In the box, Madeline is a LHH that uses a square stance with an on-time stride and centered balance. She stays on plane, makes consistent contact and is a spray hitter. She does a nice job of extending through contact and shows line drive power. Working to load more and generate more bat speed will allow her to see more gap power. At SS, Madeline hustles every play and is a vocal leader. She presents her glove, makes a quick transfer and makes accurate throws. She has good field awareness and provides good feeds on the double play. Working to play through the ball will allow her to cut down the distance to her target. Overall, Madeline is a coachable player that will continue to improve her game.
