07/12/2018 - Advanced Training and Competition at the International Cup (Grad Years 2018-2022) Madison is a Softball Factory veteran. She proves her love and dedication to the game every time she steps on the field. Madison spent this event working with the outfielders. She proved to have a strong work ethic and hustled every play. She reads the ball well and works to play through. In the box, Madison has an aggressive approach. She makes consistent contact and is a spray hitter. Working to accelerate through contact will allow her to see continued increases in her power production. Overall, Madison is a pleasure to work with and she will be a great addition to a collegiate line up.
01/20/2018 - College PREP - Gluckstadt, MS Madison is a 2020 second baseman, outfielder with the attitude of hard work and determination. Defensively, Madison will do whatever it takes to make the play and help her team. She displays a good feed on the double play and has a quick release to her target. She also takes a good angle to her backhand. Offensively, Madison tracks the ball well and gets her barrel to contact. She uses all parts of the field and stays connected with her hips/hands. Overall, Madison works hard at all she does on the field and will always strive to improve her skill sets.
07/08/2017 - Advanced Training and Competition at the World Cup Madison returns to Softball Factory for another event and another opportunity to take her game to the next level. Madison proves to be a coachable player with a passion for the game. She works hard to put coaching into play and asks a lot of smart questions. In the box Madison does a nice job of working up the middle of the flied. She consistently puts the ball in play to give her offense a chance to capitalize. Working on her bat speed will allow her to generate more momentum to the ball and see an increase in her line drive production. Defensively Madison reads the ball well and handles the routine play well. She communicates well on the double play and provides good feeds. Using ladder drills will allow Madison to have quick, smooth footwork. Overall Madison will have the opportunity to take her game to the next level with continued coaching and exposure.
11/10/2016 - Softball Factory Select Training & Competition at Historic Dodgertown Madison is a 2020 second baseman, outfielder with developing skill set. Defensively, Madison works hard to make every play. With improvement on the basic fundamentals and overall awareness of the game, Madison will become a stronger threat defensively. Offensively, Madison is square to the plate in her set up and takes a short, soft stride to the ball. She stays center with her balance on her swing and has the ability to spray the ball to different parts of the field. By focusing more on her hand path and engaging her lower half, Madison will become more powerful and work more inside the ball. Overall, Madison is always willing to learn and makes sure her work ethic stands out. She will continue to improve on each aspect of her game and work on what is needed to take her game to a new level.
06/02/2016 - College World Series Select Training Madison is a 2020 second baseman with a developing skill set. Defensively, Madison is active on ever play and has efficient feet to cover some ground. She has the proper footwork when approaching the ball and also covers the bag well when needed. Madison has a vocal voice for her defense in the infield. By working more on her arm strength and aggressiveness, Madison will become more confident and stronger with her skill sets. Offensively, Madison has a square set up and brings a good mind set to the box. She displays good effort and swings the bat hard through the zone. By working on quicker hands to the ball and engaging her lower half, Madison will be able to become more consistent at the plate. Overall, Madison is a coachable, young athlete that will work hard to build upon her skills sets to be at her best.
